Café Neuro York trustees

Our trustees are the people who have made Café Neuro York happen and we are delighted to have their support.

  • Diana Toseland

    Diana is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist. She has worked in the NHS and rehabilitation settings for her whole career. During that time, she became aware that people with a long-term neurological conditions have needs for ongoing psychological and social support, such as can be offered by Café Neuro York. With the other Trustees and the folks who attend, this charity has been set up.

  • David King 

    David is an APIL-accredited Brain Injury Specialist and Senior Litigator. He is an Associate Solicitor in Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds Neurotrauma team.

  • Ruth Stockdale

    Ruth got involved in Café Neuro York through her role at the MS Society. She has had a number of roles working in the voluntary and statutory sector working in communications and campaigns roles for RNIB, Oxfam and West Yorkshire Probation as well as the MS Society and others.

  • Amelie Trickett

    Amelie is an assistant psychologist in the NHS working with children and adults in the community. She started as a volunteer with Café Neuro York during the lockdown while studying at the University of York. She supported our online cafés and runs a number of online quizzes for our members.

  • Penney Mayall 

    Penney is a social work professional of many years, with a record of continuing professional and personal development, and lived experiences. Penney has a broad range of skills and knowledge gained through cross sector professional work including voluntary sector roles and a passion to make a contribution from an informed basis.
